This is a type specimen concept project centered around the Sabon typeface. Created between 1964 and 1967, Sabon was designed by Jan Tschichold. This project tells the story of Tschichold and highlights the elegance and strong durability of the German typeface, which complements Roman architecture and statues. The visual language incorporates shadows to represent how our past continues to follow and influence us in design work today, while also reflecting the timeless qualities of Roman architecture and statues.
