The Versace Runway Look Book is a concept design to display all four unique fashion products. Each one creatively written and titled is displayed. Each page describes the process and the unique history that is associated with each image. Created for the cliental shoppers of Versace and luxury connoisseurs. Its function is to be given out to every customer that walks through the luxury story. The logo is by Versace and was altered.
CONCEPT / GOAL
The main concept behind this look book was to create an elegant high-end product given to customers as they browse around the Versace retail stores. Each page describes the process and the unique history that is associated with each image. Each page shows a specific time when each piece was a season on the runway. The main goal for this concept design was to focus on playing with type hierarchy and to design an edgy way of displaying the images being shown.
PROCESS
The process of this project first began with a different brand. I first created the 4x4 concept design with Chanel. Personally, with this project, I had issues with the overall formate of the large lower case type, the text that holds the information of the designs, and the formate of how the images were first designed. I solved this by still holding onto the edgy but elegant concept I wanted, but changed the brand. I noticed that the overall Chanel brand did not match the style I intended to do. So, I redesign and created new formate to fix this issue.
